Outside photographers in Cabo!

Recommended Posts

Hey, I don't know if anyone has any info and I couldn't find any on the forum...but are there any specific requirements for photographers coming to Cabo from the U.S. ? Do they need any special papers or anything? We are flying in a photographer from Indianapolis to the RIU. The hotel is ok with her coming and she will be staying at the hotel for four nights with us. I imagine its fine, but I'm not sure. Don't want to get caught off guard.

We are having a Houston based photographer travel to Cabo. She seems to travel a lot especially Mexico and Dreams said ok, and so I expect that the photographer would obtain any necessary permits or whatever she needed. I am not going to worry about that aspect.

Thanks! that eases my mind a little. i began to worry when I wrote back one of the photographers in Cabo and he said that he should warn me that my photographer that I am flying in will need the proper papers to work in Mexico. I'm sure she will know what is needed, but I will look into it and double check with her.

Allison, I think you need to look at your specific hotel requirements for outside vendors. There are some hotels that do not allow outside vendors (photogs included), for example the RIU chain. One of the reasons we picked Dreams for our wedding was because they allowed outside vendors.
