Am I crazy??

Ok, so we're looking at 4 months to go until our wedding and we just put an offer on a house. SOOOOOOO that means that within the next 4 months, we're buying a home, packing, moving, planning our wedding and getting married. OMFG!!!!! It's going to be one hell of a busy time! I'm going to go crazy!!

If your crazy, then I'm crazy too!! We moved into our new house in November, had Christmas well at Christmas time!, DHs 30th birthday on the 29th and then got married in January!!!

It will definitely be a bit stressful, but hang in there - it will ALL be worth it!! An idea would be to let him deal with the house stuff (mortgage broker, real estate agent, etc) while you deal with the wedding stuff (which I am assuming is mostly you anyway) - that's pretty much what we did. I was about 80% wedding & 20% house, and he was the opposite. It seemed to work out well for us, and I think others have done it this way as well!

Good luck girl, and you know we are here to vent when something goes wonky!!!

lol thanks for the tips Amanda. I can bet 100% that something will go wonky! That's a really good idea about the wedding/house split. I think I'll suggest that for sure! Thank god for BDW!!!!

I have no doubt you can do all of this and do it well. My best friend planned her wedding, bought a house and finished her Masters in the last 6 months before her wedding. Amanda's tip is great about splitting the stuff that has to get done. You are working towards becoming a couple and this is all part of it and you have all of us here to vent to when you get stressed!

You're the best kind of crazy - making your dreams really come true! You may go into crazy-withdrawal after all of this though. I'm sure I'm going to go into post-wedding-planning depression!

Congrats! I've done it before too...PLUS started a new job! That was many, many moons ago but you know what? What doesn't kill you just makes you stronger! LOL Enjoy the chaos!!
