Awww that really sucks. I can see why you would feel that way, but it isn't your fault. She had the chance to talk to the principal to find out when the prom would be and she didn't....she is old enough to do that. Plus, going to punta cana for a wedding is pretty awesome too! How is she feeling about having to miss her prom?

So glad it worked out!

And I missed my senior prom too for a golf meet... and 12 years later I am still not sorry I missed it:) We had a homecoming, and a midwinter dance too... that would help soften the blow a little bit. Your wedding will be SO MUCH MORE FUN than prom anyways!
