Family-friendly Group Activities in Puerto Vallarta

Hi ladies,

 

We've got a mixed crowd coming to our wedding in November--from my 2 year old nephew to my 60 year old parents. Does anyone have any suggestions on a group activity that everyone could enjoy (and that would still be fun!!!).

heather - what about the day trip to las caletas? the kids would love it. and there were older people on the boat as well when we went over for anns wedding. there are monkeys and birds, snorkeling, kayaking - they serve drinks and lunch. i didnt do much when i was in PV a few weeks ago besides shoot anns wedding so i cant be of much help but the kids especially seemed excited about las caletas.

Oh okay, I'll look into day trips to Las Caletas and see what I can find for our group. Thank you for the suggestion : )

We are getting married in PV, too. We are going to do a Canopy Tour - Canopy Tours de los Veranos, Exciting Eco Tours in Puerto Vallarta. Our guests are really excited about it! For younger ones (or the less adventurous ones) there are water slides, a resturaunt, a bar, and exotic animals there too.

I am getting married at Las Caletas- I kind of hope no one goes there beforehand!

Something else that might be fun would be to get a day pass to the Grand Mayan ... they have a large lazy river, pools, shows, etc.  I have a 2 year old daughter and, as soon as it gets warm again (haha - warm to you guys maybe but I think it's getting cold we're going!

 

Also, the Malecon on Sundays is super fun for all ages - they have live music around 5 pm in the square for the older people (music called "danzon" and they all dance - it's fun to watch) followed by a bit younger music (like salsa, cumbia, etc.), and clowns and other stuff - families love to go down there walking, eat some street food, etc.  It's one of my daughters and my family's favorite things to do .
