We haven't registered, even in the face of requests that we do so. We actually put it right on our invitations, "Please, no gifts - your presence is all we need" - and we're sticking by it. But I don't think that there is anything wrong with registering if that is what you want to do - it's a matter of personal preference I think.

Thanks, I ended up registering for a few things, just in case...Does everyone know that if you register at Amazon.com the gifts get shipped directly to you. I thought that was great for us Destination girls.

BTW I love carved soaps , what would life be like without them.
