I'm Lame at Photo Posting

I'm having photo trouble here. When I try to browse my comp. and upload photos it says invalid because they are jpg files. All of mine are jpg files but I know how to convert them to bmp which is acceptable.

 

Then I try to upload the bmp files but the dimensions are too big. Even on little pics I take with my camera phone they are too big. Anyone know how to resize or what I can do? The only solution I have is to copy and paste then attach them in a word document but that isn't ideal. All of my photos aren't hosted on other sites so I can't always provide a link.

all the pics i uploaded are jpg but they are about 800 x 600...if you email me the pics, i will resize them for you so you can upload them.
