That is really sad! I don't really know much about him except that he dated Nicole Richie, and I *heart* her, so I knew of him. But I am still sad to see he passed.

from what i read, he was having a hard time dealing with the plane crash and had to take anti-anxiety drugs in order to fly since it was part of his job. he was a former addict so i guess his old drug habits came back with a vengeance.
