RSVP ettiquette?

Recommended Posts

You are definitely not alone Michelle! Apparently social etiquette is out the window these days and there is NO excuse in this modern day society. I am dealing with similar RSVP frustration where guests simply don't respond after reminders were sent. It is definitely very disappointing and frustrating. All the work we as brides put into planning our weddings and it is not too much to ask for a response. RSVP "NO" is way better than "NO RESPONSE". wtf.gif

We had the same problem! We also sent self-addressed, STAMPED envelopes!! I, personally, think it's extrememly tacky to not respond...especially when you have gone and done all the "hard work" of addressing and stamping the envelope. Sorry to hear about your frustrations...

My RSVP deadline is in 2 days and we are still waiting for 17 cards back. Some of these people claim they are coming but hey, why should I have to pre-pay their meal, make seating arrangements, and assume they will come after all this, when they can't even bother to send back a card??

I wish guests would take this into consideration before they decide they cant ba bothered to send back their rsvps!!!
