Shipping items to the Dominican Republic

Hi all!

 

This question is mostly directed to those who would have already done it (because you would be the best to know) but maybe future brides would know too! Have any of you shipped boxes of items (decorations, OOT bags, etc) to the DR before your wedding? Did it work well, and how much was it?

Not a good idea, nsbride, mail service is very mixed up there. I hear sometimes they dont get their mail for months after the expected date of arrival. But if you think you really have to, go with UPS or FedEx.

oh I honestly had not decided one way or the other, I was only looking for feedback We have a lot of people going, so taking stuff wouldn't be a problem!

I spoke to our Wedding Coordinator and she said absolute not to ship anything unless I REALLY had to. I would call your Wedding Coordinator and check first.

Haha well if you spoke to the WC at your resort than that is a good enough response for me!! PS: I am completely jealous you are having your wedding at Excellence!!
