I wouldn't do anything on facebk. I don't use that kind of stuff. Just email or txt them and that way it's kind of personal

I haven't told anyone about our site either...but thats because I keep changing it..and because i love it so much I dont want to hear any neg comments as crazy as that sounds..lol..i'm sick i know

I don't know about FB either...it is not secure AT ALL!!

I would probably go with requesting email addy's from FB (if its not on their profile) and then send out a massive "wedding update" email like someone said earlier. Don't forget to BCC everyone - most people don't like people seeing their email addys.
