Great idea but getting postage might be bummer. Any recent Brides know where to get postage? I have been to resorts that have local postage at their gift store, maybe your resort also has it?

SO many ideas, so little time!!! I love this, I think it's a wonderful one. However, I think I would be more comfortable with my guests giving them to us directly somehow... just to be sure!

We actually did this.

 

1. Don't count on the resort to have stamps. ROR was "out" the entire time we were there.

2. If they are out, you have to go to a post office in town. Its $20-$30 round trip!!!

3. Mail does get lost....especially going from another country. It can also take a lot of time to get to you!!

 

So, what we did...

We put the postcards on a table at the reception, then asked everyone to fill them out and place them in a wooden chest that we brought...and we just brought them home ourselves. We still haven't read them, but we have them all!

Here is a link to the Jamaica post. It says $50 for postage for postcards. I am sure that is in Jamaica Dollars, about 60 cents I think.
