Sunday Weddings in DR?

We are getting married at PCP and they don't offer sunday weddings... I really wanted that date too but I just took 10-9-10 Francelia told me that no one does sunday weddings... I love the resort more than the date so I just stuck with it.

Hi! I orginally tried for the 10.10.10 date at the Riu and they do not hold sunday weddings. no exceptions. (we offered to pay more) we decided that 10.9.10 was a great date too and on 10.10.10 we would be married....we decided it was more important also to take advantage of the 3 day weekend that most people get cause its columbus day so that our guests could make it there for the long weekend. All that said and done, we are booked for 10.9.10 for Riu Palace Punta Cana!!!

I am getting married on Sunday March 28 at the PPR and there is no extra charge or anything.

I am however doing a symbolic wedding.

so sorry to have to tell you this but i wanted to get married on that day and i had to select another date. NO they dont hold weddings on sunday. The best that i was able to get was a Symbolic ceremony. i remember speaking to someone from Excellence Punta Cana who was willling to have the symbolic ceremony but they DO NOT allow children in the resort. another great resort but children are not allowed is BlueBay Playa dorado Puerto Plata, the only problem is that the Puerto Plata area is no longer the "hot" spot but the good thing is that in October Prices are very good and the resort is very beautiful (just stay away from the timeshare ppl) My FI proposed @ bluebay....

I know in Turks @ beaches they do not perform sunday ceremonies.

My FI wants the same day and so far have not had any luck with a Sunday Wedding. But we are also having a Catholic Wedding so we have to work with the priests and chapels.

 

I am also a little bit concerned about rain and hurricanes during October. Have you heard anything about the typical weather inthe fall?

Hi there!! I wanted it on a Sunday also but the Grand Palladium does not do weddings on Sundays! I hope you find one that does! Good luck.
