Hi, I am totally new to this and am aiming for Feb-April 2012. What the heck is a TA? I have been writing with Jennifer and she is a Wedding Coordinator but it seems I need a TA and am totally confused. Please help...And thanx

A TA (travel agent).  There are tons of acronyms on this forum but, but there is also a thread to tell you what they mean ;-)  You will find tons of useful information here.  Happy Planning.

@Mauman.... The horse and carriage is a MUST!! Every bride that has had the horse and carriage say it's a must do. I'm going with it because I want to feel like a princess on my wedding day and I think it will be an unforgetable experience, not to mention FABULOUS photos!!

I am getting married at Cancun Palace in about a month, and I was hoping someone on this thread might be able to tell me their thoughts on tipping or how they did it?  I have reviewed multiple forums just on the topic, but responses for all inclusive resorts that have a complimentary wedding package were limited.  I was hoping some of you would be willing to share your experience!

Hi!...I got married at Moon Palace a month ago today and we did tip a few people...We tipped the servers at our private function on the night of the wedding...And we also gave our wedding coordinator a gift!...They did a WONDERFUL job...It was well deserved!

OK, so this website has been a god sent for me, and a lot of other brides!!! Read these two reviews from VGirl and cutierosie, they are SO HELPFUL!!!! AND YES get some sort of a travel agent!! I went through destinationweddings.com and the two women there have been amazing, there names are Sue Allen and Marge Harmon if that is helpful.

My wedding is in Jan 2011 Moon and my wedding coordinator is Janina Mendoza, I have never had a problem with her,  My cousin got married in 2009, she had Janina and she told me she was great .. I Google her and she has good reviews.

Before submitting my info I requested her to be my coordinator.

She is been really helpful and putting me in contact with my wedding coordinator in Mexico right away.

 

I can't wait for my special day
