So my Miami WC is Lorena I really tried to be patient with her but it's one mistake after another. Lisa is the manager and I hope she calls me on Monday. I had Carilis at the begining and Lorena took over. I had some issues with Carilis but no one is perfect, Lorena makes me want to pull my hair out. I will keep you ladies posted I hope this situation improves. Maybe I will request Carilis back. I'm just so upset with the entire process.

YES! I've been working with Angelica and she was supposed to contact me 90 days before my wedding. Since I didn't hear from her two weeks later, I sent her a few emails. She finally got back to me 8 days later.

I was in the same situation! I had Lisa Lizano for my wedding coordinator. Since I reserved over a year in advance she made me contact her in March to follow up and get prices for 2011. When I did she said they weren't out yet and would be out in a few days.  I then got an email with prices, which was lower than the rates of the previous year. I thought this was due to the economy and they were trying to attract more people. But after a few months of aunt who is a member told me she thinks the rates she sent me was incorrect. After a month of being ignored I got fed up.  I had the wedding coordinator go to Lisa's supervisor and get the original rates she sent me approved.  Now I've been getting attitude from my new wedding coordinator, Janina Mendoza. She keeps saying, I can't ask for anything else! WTH! I'm sorry this is a business. I can ask for whatever I need for my wedding! I got so mad! But I had to calm down because I need her on my side! So annoying! Hopefully I don't have to deal with her anymore. Good luck with everything! And if you run into more problems then keep asking for their supervisor or the head person.

OMG, I am freaking out! I have Lorena too.! I miss Carilis but what are we supposed to do? Just like msjesslee said we need them on our side. I am so nervous that everything I was promised is not going to be delivered!

Anabrina, please keep us updated. I will wait a few more days then I am calling the Miami office! Anyone have any luck with their miami coordinator that they would like to recommend?

Hello ladies!

 

This may be random- but I was wondering...for those of you who have been at Moon Palace (or any Palace resorts) -- do they give you glass bottles or cans when you get a beer? I'm asking because my fiance and I are starting to think of favors for the wedding (getting married 2/19/11!!) and are considering getting personalized cozies (koozies? I never know how to spell it!).  We're trying to figure out which one to get (beer can or beer bottle?). 

 

Any help would be great!

So I spoke to Lisa today the manager at the Miami office and I have to say she was wonderful. She calmly listen to each concern, and addressed every single one. All of my issues have been fixed, she even offered to call my unhappy guest, and apologize. Lorena also promised she would tie up some loose ends today, not only did she complete the task she gave me a follow up call to confirm. I guest my issues kept snowballing and I should have spoke up sooner. I have to say I am happy now and ready for Cancun!!!!!

There are cans of Tecate and Dos Equis in the rooms.  At the bar they give you either mugs (lobby bar or restuarant) or plastic cups (swim up bars or outdoor bars).  I don't believe I saw a better bottle all week.  My husband and I did Koozies too and everyone loved them.
