Update on my last post about the hourglass from Heirloom Hourglass LLC. . . sorry it is a couple months in coming due to a family emergency.

We did receive the hourglass with 2 days to spare. Let me tell you first that the hourglass was amazingly beautiful and worth every penny we paid for it. The ceremony was beautiful and the hourglass made it that much more special. I see people saying they don't know if the money is worth it. . but honestly it truly is. We didn't have to worry about the sand shifting or spilling out of the vases on the plane and it is just beautiful sitting on our table. If your on the fence about paying the money. . do it. .you will be glad you did in the end.

As for the customer service. We did have issues getting in contact with the company. When we finally made contact, we were told that they were not receiving e-mails from my husbands comcast e-mail address. However they did start responding to my e-mails after a couple attempts, and did respond regularly. However, none of our phone calls were returned, so if you do order, I would say that the best way to make contact is via e-mail.

I don't know how to upload pictures on the site, so if someone tells me how I can or if someone would like me to e-mail pictures, I would be happy to.
