Riu cancun weddings?

Hi Everyone.

 

I'm new and was wondering if anyone on here had their wedding at the Riu Cancun? I'm getting married there 16 April 2010 and am having quite a bit of trouble finding anyone who has been married there before.

 

I have been emailing the wedding planner but she's not very helpfull so any information or pictures anyone has would be a great help. I am starting to worry about things such as decoration of the ceremony location and reception dinner. Also what will happen after the dinner as this will apparently be over in 1 hour 30 mins?

 

Any info would be a great help.

Hi Fiona,

Your post from a while ago (sorry) said you were getting married at the Riu Cancun in 2010.

I was just curious how it went. My Fiancee and i are getting married there in june 2011. We have been there before, i guess i was just wondering if the wedding cord' set everything up as you expected and if things went smooth the day of. i will be lucky if you post back and even luckier if you decide to post some pictures of your beautiful day.
