Damask Ideas?

Im looking for ideas like this. I LOVE the monogram in the middle. Im just wondering if I should add an accent color and which color to use lol. Im thinking yellow. Also does anyone know how to make a monogram like that with powerpoint?

As far as the monogram, I'm not sure about Powerpoint, but I'd think the easiest way to make it would be in Photoshop personally
