Vendors - and the 'contests'

I know I am planning a destination wedding and while I don't want to skimp on things, I do have a budget in mind. Does anyone have any experience with the giveaways for destination weddings? For example, I ran across a free wedding photography contest and would love to submit ( would have to pay travel expenses). It's not totally geared toward destination weddings. It's a totally established photographer but she 'gives back' for one wedding each year.

 

If anyone has experience with this sort of thing, I would love your input. I am new to this whole process. Thanks.

We have giveaways like that all the time on BDW. There have been really positive experiences from brides. If you go to the vendor markwtplace you can see samples of past contests.
