You are not being unreasonable, your best friend is supposed to support you. You got an easy way out... you should count yourself lucky! Found another BM who will be happy to be there for you and have a great wedding.

I can see both sides of this issue. You best friend might be upset that you chose a location knowing that it would put her in an awkward situation. Her family would probably never let her hear the end of it if she went. She may be thinking that you chose Mexico over wanting her there.
