Is anyone getting married in the Tamarindo area?

Hello,

 

My fiance and I are planning an August 2010 wedding in or around Tamarindo area, as we had our recent vacation at near by Playa Grande (which is where we got engaged). We really want either a boutique hotel or a villa which can manage 40-50 guests, as we're looking for an intimate wedding rather than one at a larger hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips?

Try looking at Casa de las Tortugas, Villa Marrakesh, Cala Luna or Capitan Suizo. They can all hold the mentioned amount of guests. They are also away from the town of Tamarindo offering more privacy for your event. Make sure you look at tide charts of that date for Casa de Las Tortugas or Marrakesh, if it is high tide it is impossible to have a beach wedding.
