I used mypublisher for the book. I was happy with the results. The total cost for two books was around $60 (buy one get one free coupon code) It was easy to put together also. They have something you have to download and then you design it the way you like. I recommend using them. MyPublisher | Create Photo Books, Cards and Calendars with free MyPublisher Software! I used shutterfly for another project before and they have a good product as well. Those prices are more suited for the wedding album, not this project IMO.

Update to the house shopping...

Chris, Mark was totally on board to sell our house before we went away and I think somewhere along the line that faded and he didn't say anything to me until a few days ago.

So we went to see the house again and while were where there we were advised that there was two offers pending and the agent was waiting for us to have one last look. I did go through and realized just how much pressure would be on me over the next few weeks or months to get our house sold and packed. I really got where mark is coming from and we went for beers and chilled... No house shopping for a while...

Oh well happy weekend ladies

i do miss you guys but im working really hard at the mo i come home eat then sleep.when the newness of the married thing wears off i will take laptop to bed and talk to you from there.im still really enjoying married life its great but no different?a month can you believe it??

Hi ladies-- I am so wiped out from trying to move from one state to another and pack up 2 houses.

Susie-- As someone with a Real Estate license the right one at the right time is the only perfect house. You will know when its "the" house, but shells is right make sure it has enough room for all of us to come and hang out!

TeNeil- I used mypublisher.com too for my book and it turned out good.

KristaH- I see that you posted photos to facebook I can't wait to see them!

KristaB- 3 more months!!! Ahhhhh..... getting excited!

 

I can't believe that the photographers are dragging thier feet and not getting back to you guys. I would be sooo upset.

Susie!!! You live in a mansion with a pool! Holy crap! We are so having a pool party at your house this summer! lol I'm so jealous!

I can see both sides… on one hand you are ready to start a new life together and a house would be the perfect time to do that… a fresh start! On the other hand you want to enjoy yourself and let your life calm down a bit before you take a huge step like this and have to worry about packing and selling your current house. Hmmmm… maybe flip a looney? Or is it a tooney? I can never remember the currency in Canada! But, I am in love with the house you chose though… I love how spacious it is! Just do what is right and listen to your hearts! Good Luck!

 

Krista – Yum! An ice-cream social! Love the idea! I think everyone would enjoy it but how many people will you have at your reception? I just wonder how quickly it can be served or does someone serve the ice-cream for them. Hmmm…

We had a phootobooth at our reception…. And let me tell you it was a riot!!!!

Babymaking is super fun! I have been charting a few things. I have only been keeping track of good ole AF (aunt flo) and CM (cervical mucus) and when I’m ovulating. We’ve only been trying for a month but I actually thought I was pg last week. AF was late and I had a ton of symptoms. Then I found out that progesterone is a bad bad hormone and it makes your body mimic pg symptoms! AF started on Saturday and I was so bummed because I was really thinking I was pg. I have to not read into this pg stuff, it can get pretty depressing. But we are still keeping it fun and don’t want to turn into a “chore”. How is the charting of your Basal Temp going? I haven’t started to do that because I don’t have a proper BBT. Living in China is hard to find the everyday things. I just found a store that carries pg tests! I have a package arriving this week that contains “Preseed” it is a sperm friendly lube and it actually helps you when conceiving. Okay, alright, I know.... enough of my TMI stuff. lol

 

Brooke – get in that bedroom girl! Show your hubby how much you miss him! That stinks you are traveling so much! Can you kidnap him and take him with you?

 

Well girls sorry I have been away but it’s been a busy few weeks at work and I’ve been consuming myself in baby info and TTC stuff. Xo

Erica you're hilarious. I hope you're the first because you guys seem really into the whole thing, LOL We're on month two. I refuse to chart my temp or anything like that. Not yet anyway. I am pretty in tune with my body so I can always tell when I am ovulating. We'll see what happens. I feel all this pressure from around me to get pregnant fast in a ''I'll show you!'' kind of way, because I am by far the oldest out of all our friends here. Being 35, everyone thinks your eggs are all dried up, so I made a joke with my husband that this month we'll give it a good old college try. haha

I am in no rush though. As long as it happens within the next 6 months I am happy.

 

Brooke- I am not very patient, but I also have no control over when the photos will be ready. He promised me by the end of this week. He also promised to send me some teaser pics like four days ago... Guess he doesn't understand that concept, LOL He is within his contract. It said pictures would be ready in 6 weeks.

 

Allison- you are in the same boat as me re. photos but at least you have a few teasers!!

 

shell- nice to hear from you again!

 

Krista- I LOVE ice cream. I think that's a really fun idea!

Erica - it's a company that comes in and I believe the cups are already full of ice cream and you just put the toppings on. I do have to call and get a few more details from them. We are also doing a photo booth and I have some great props - we started buying at Halloween ha ha ha

 

Cake girl backed out so now trying to find another one. Even though our reception is April 17th the responses from cake places being able to do it is quite good.

 

Yes I have some pics up on facebook. We have 3 dvds of pics and around 3,000 pics (includes originals and edits) to go through. We were tired after the first one, but my photog rocks and categorized them all for me.

Hey ladies! Christina I'm sorry to hear your pics are still not done! I'm sure they will be ready soon and you will be revelling in them for weeks/months/years to come!

 

Well, I would just like to vent about how frustrated I am! I'm posting in several other threads for July brides, July Dreams brides, etc. and nobody is responding with anything! What the heck? Is everyone too busy or what?? I don't understand and I'm a little upset because I want to be able to talk and read about other brides who are going through same things as me! I really wish that the July brides would have the same friendship that the February brides have! I miss you guys!!! I know i have you guys but you have all moved on past the wedding planning stage now Sorry ladies for the vent...I'm just having a blah week. I'm trying to be excited, but it doesn't seem like anyone else is excited with me. Not to mention that all of our friends/family are still taking their time booking. I keep trying to tell them they need to book asap, but they keep putting it off until it's eventually going to be too late! I only have just over 3 months left! WHOA!

 

Okay, well my vent made me feel a little better. I hope you are all having fun being newlyweds with babymaking, house shopping, AHRs and all!
