Oh Timberly... Hun I just sent you a big cyber hug... I know it really sucks that people take you for granted,.I have a friend that has treated me like crap for months, I'd call her and leave a message and she'd call me back about a week later. She recently drove by my house and called me, I didn't answer the phone, I seen it was her calling and Mark and I were dealing with another drama session with Steph. She left me a voicemail saying I quess your screening your calls because I see both your cars are home. I have not called her back!!! I am like "why bother"?

I am actually printing AHR invites today... Mine is a open house June5th ... Just simple here at the house.

It's a pretty lazy day here..... We were at a Jack and Jill last night for Mark's cousin, so late night and too much vino... SusieQ is just blah today....

Glad to hear your AHR was a blast Shells....

Take care gals.... Don't stress over stupid people!!!

OH and FYI.... I didn't email the crazy ass mom.... I figured she probably has the IQ of a turnip and wouldn't get what she did wrong....I just left it.....Actually Mark asked me just to leave it lol.....

Oh the drama Susie! I am also shocked the school allows kids to be on FB!!! Wow!!! You get her Susie! I'm glad you stood up and didn't take any sh!t!!! Good Girl!

Shell - so happy your "fiesta" went well. Our AHR was awesome too! We had 197 show up and we didn't close the bar till midnight! What a night! We surprised everyone and had pizza's delivered at 9:30 for those that needed some food with their drinks! *wink-wink* We didn't want everyone getting loaded and then getting pulled over.

Krista - that's so cute you had a "date night" awwww... stay in that bed and get busy on that babymaking! hee hee!

Timberly- Sorry you're bummed about not getting so many gifts/money etc. But just remember you and your hubby are a gift to eachother and you are so lucky you found one another and have a beautiful daughter to show for it. Who needs gifts/money when you have eachother?! Not to mention, think of all those thank you's you would have to fill out!!! lol

Tricia - We were talking about combining our accts too! Since we don't go back to the states until July we are just transfering our $$$ back and forth between accts. Once we are back in the states we will combine our accts. We agree with having one acct and not seperate ones! But, yeah i will have to get used to him saying "what is this?how much?you bought what? lol

Well, I better get back to work!

xo

Timberly-- I think people wait to give gifts and money until they are invited somewhere that they are attending the event. I know I don't just send money to relatives unless they invite me to the wedding, birthday -- it I don't matter enough to be asked to come then I guess you don't matter enough to get a gift or money. I realize I may be selfish but i am who I am.

The joint money stuff-- We are keeping seperate accounts and just adding a set amount of money into our joint one every month so that way we can keep our independance and he doesn't know how obsessed with TJ Maxx I am! lol

Krista- I hear you on being to tired to function and wanting to be in bed some nights at 8 pm! You are 100% right as long as you're together thats all that matters!

OK ladies-- I am off to bed. have a good night!

Thanks girls for the advice!!!... I definitely didn't want to come off as "needy" for gifts, money..etc. I just expected more cards or acknowledgement from the family on both sides. We only sent out 50 invites so we always wanted a small wedding. It seems that even the ones that I invited and they couldn't make it haven't called, congratulated or anything since we have been home. Maybe I shouldn't have said "cheap," let me replace that with "inconsiderate" instead. It was never about wanting gifts, maybe just a call or card to say congrats would have been great. Then again, these were the same family members that didn't even bother to accept or decline the invitation, I don't know why I expected a congrats afterwards.

I am over that... I had the most AMAZING day of my life when I married my soulmate, I won't let them rain on my parade!

Tricia... I asked our daughter if she wants a baby brother or sister today and she said "if you want to give me one that's ok, but I think I want a puppy instead" that was my dose of funny for today! I imagine I will be on the bandwagon after a 6-12 more months, I don't want to wait too long. Our daughter will be 6 in May and will be really into her school routine that I can handle starting all over.

So Susie..tell your friend to make booties for the last bride to get knocked up too please :).

Ok ladies it's 4am and I am awake.. Mark and I went house shopping this weekend there are a couple that we really love and I am stressing just thinking about moving. I really like the house we're in, I hate that I feel like it is in the middle of Grand Central Station. the main intersections for my area is the two busiest streets in town. I also have houses all around me. I feel like I am in a fish bowl. I also have no backyard!!!! It is totally all pool. The pool is great two months of the year!!! the rest of the time it is an eye sore, covered in an ugly tarp.

I am so twisted right now this one house is just so beautiful and it is smaller which I want and totally my taste... not sure if this works "I'll try to send the link"

REALTOR.ca - Property Details N1795400

I know I'll be down sizing big time, but less mortage and upkeep. mark and I went for dinner last night and I could see he wants this house and I was totally silent. he was chatting up a storm and me sitting there listening and going holy crap I could be moving in a few months.

Needless to say that is why I am awake at 4am and have this huge pain in my neck...STRESSED!!!!

Susie: Cute house! And beautiful hard woods and kitchen! It looks really nice.

Timberly: That's funny about the puppy. I understand how you feel about people not acknowledging your wedding. I have learned a lot during the experience as well. I am the person who always goes to everyone's things even if I don't want to, am tired, or am sick because I want them to feel special on their day (birthday, wedding, shower, fiesta!, whatever!) and I realized that not only do people not come, but they don't RSVP. So next time I am feverish and lying in bed and don't feel like going to someone's birthday party, my ass is getting some rest!!

Brooke- that's how we handled our money up until recently and it worked pretty good for us. I didn't really see the need to switch when we did, but I have to admit it has been more convenient.

Erica- we went to a wedding last year and got pizza around 10:00 pm and it was great!!

Hey guys!

Susie I love the house! It's really nice and totally move in ready. It looks pretty big too, do you need more space than that? Big yard, lower mortgage payments, quiet street, beautiful kitchen, I say go for it!

Timberley- I totally get where you are coming from. It's not about the money because like you said it's not like you need it, but that is not the point. We experienced the same. We didn't really expect alot seeing as though people had to spend money to come, but still, my whole family came through with a little something for us, and so did my husband's parents and an aunt and uncle who came (and an aunt who didn't). But not a single friend gave us anything. Not even a card! I would have at least brought a card, but whatever. I am not going to hold a grudge, it's just a little selfish. Some friends of ours got married a few years ago in Mexico and some of the same friends that came to our wedding gave them a gift. I don't need nor want anything, but just be consistent. Let's face it, not everyone was brought up with the same manners. One of my husbands uncles cancelled last minute and he has still not called, nor email us to let us know he isn't coming, LOL. What an asshole.

On the other side of things, we had a couple relatives and friends send us money who weren't even invited!

So I emailed my photographer last Friday and I haven't heard anything... sad.gif Maybe he is close to finishing and so will email then? I am highly impatient, lol

Susie- I LOVE the house! I say go for it. I hate moving also, but it is nice and open just like I like it. If you don't move in we will :)

Girls- seriously, thanks for letting me see that I am not going crazy!

I researched and finally made an appointment to drop off my dress to be preserved on Saturday. It is the same company that is in charge of restoring the drapes and textiles in the museums here in NY. He even offered me a discount because of the bridal salon I bought it from..SCORE..I love discounts:)

Also, I decided to plan for a SMALL reception at my girlfriends social room in New Jersey. My photographer said I should have my CDs of edited prints and originals in a few weeks. And the videographer said we will have the videos before the end of the month so all systems are a go...unless I change my mind again :).

My photographer offered a flush mount album with 60 pics for an additional $500. We are debating. I really want this type of album. They look sooooo good. The problem is with 1600 pics, how in the hell do you choose just 60?!? Are any of you thinking of designing your own albums? if so, what company will you use? I wanted a flush mount album for my house then 3 more for parents and God parents as gifts. I looked into Black River imaging and white house wedding (I think thats them) wondering if yuo have heard of any others.

Anywho.. talk to you lovlies later
