Chris sent a friend over to "investigate" while I sat in a restaurant eating alone. He was at a corner table eating with 3 male friends. I was working in real estate at the time and took a break from the office to have lunch at my favorite restaurant. His friend came over and got all of my particulars down to the fact that I just purchased my own house and owned a white pomeranian named Chanel. I was always trying to sell houses to everyone I met so I gave the guy my business card, paid for my lunch and left.

 

2 months later, my girlfriend and I were at a nightclub in Atlanta when I felt this guy staring at me as if I owed him money. Later the same night I walked to the bathroom and he touched my arm and I said "why are you looking so mean" he said "because you took too long to walk past me!" he had me laughing every since.. 8 years and a 6yr old perfect daughter and he is still my best friend!

 

That's our story .

 

I really miss you guys and hope that we can get together in October or soon after.

wow, i don't like this new forum layout.  no one's signatures work..............  it's so hard to read.  *Hates change

 

Count me in for October.  Let's set some dates down soon.   ie. do we arrive Friday and leave Sunday?  or arrive Friday and leave Monday?  I have airmiles I'd like to use.  Also we should tally those who need roomies.  Personally, I am all for maxing out people per room to save on $$.  4 to a room or is that too cozy?  LOL  I need a roomie!

I must be cranky cause I really hate this new forum.  No signatures, no gifts, can't see people's signatures.  It's like we all lost our sense of identity.    Most of the smilies are gone..............   h a  t    e       i     t.

ok guys here I am again!  Three posts in a row.  Just got to work and discovered that my co-worker booked that first weekend in October off (both the Friday and the Monday).  I am sooo angry!  he always takes weekends and the worst of it is I have to work the following weekend too (our Thanksgiving).  I really really really want to meet up with you guys.  Can I propose the third weekend in October???  the 15th, 16th, 17th?  Brooke is that too late for you?? 

 

I am highly annoyed today, lol.  (*got AF yesterday, my body is not used to all these hormones..... )

Timberly I am no saint!  I lost it with her on Monday when she went back on Facebook and posted an "oh poor me" post.  She basically blamed Mark and I for expecting her to be perfect and she was so sad that she couldn't measure up.  I totally lost it and her and i had this knock down screaming match. We told her she needed to post that she was sorry for posting pictures that were inappropriate and that if she had offended anyone, she was sorry.  Ah not even close!!!!!  It was a brutal fight... Just brutal!!!!  She came at me and I thought she was going to hit me. I was so upset and still not sure if I can continue with her living in my house. 

I ended up calling a crisis hot-line and having someone come out to speak to Mark and I because she had ran off.  At least we're on the same page on and he understands this is more than just teen disobedience.  She came home last night and spent the night in her room, Mark spoke with her for a couple hours.  I ended up going to bed.   My nerves are a little raw the past few days.   so hell yeah..... bring on Oct. i could use a vacation.

I'm in for NY and having a roommate as long as I can.  I'm on a no-fly list from my doc, but I'm hoping to be able to soon.  Sorry I can't give a definate answer, but I would really like to.

It's gonna take some getting used to this "new" BDW!

 

Went for our ultrasound yesterday (I'm 19 weeks) and everything looks great.  I think it reassured my hubby a bit to see baby on the screen and hear from the technician that everything looked good.  I may be a bit biased, but I think our baby is so cute!  We stood firm with our decision NOT to find out the sex of the baby, so we're still calling it "baby"...

Yeah Teshy!  That is wonderful!  It is such a great reassuring feeling to see the baby.  I am so happy for you guys!
