February 2010 brides

So its been a busy couple of days! I got a bunch of DIY stuff in, tons of running around done and some of my ordered stuff came in! Woohoo for mugs and oot bags

 

So I will try post a few pictures here to share with you….

 

First, my ring that I finally got a sort of nice photo of:

 

Then the flower girl buckets I made last week…I figured the kids can peel the flowers off afterwards if they want and play in the sand with them.

 

These are the luggage tags I finished up today by adding the plastic thingie to (I have no idea what the actual name for it is)

 

These are the oot bags that came in…the solid canvas if for the guests and the one with blue on it is bigger and those will be for the wedding party and our parents….

 

Today our mugs showed up! Woohoo!

 

So now this is a really long post with photos! But I was excited! I won’t get much more done this weekend because I have two showers.

Timberly-- I had to test out my sand ceremony ones and we realized our first one was WAY to big-- Use sugar and wash it out to test the size. Sorry to hear about your hair stylist backing out I know how much you were looking forward to them being there and how upsetting it would be! Also be careful and check the rules about bringing sand from the beach. Some places make it illegal and then you would have to dump out your sand ceremony-- I know that Cancun is Illegal.

 

Tricia- You are a stunning and super skinny mini bride! You look amazing in your dress.

 

Rayanne- Cute Mugs, love the bag tags and that ring is so unique and different- very cool.

Timberly - is it manditory to have a passport to go to Mexico? (I think that's where you're going). The last time I went to Mexico (albeit it was from Canada) you could use your drivers license.

 

Susie - stay off the forum and enjoy your time away!! Although it's good to hear things are going well, minus the airport.

 

You look amazing Tricia!! I was excited that I didn't need alterations either (just some boob cups ha ha ha). Alterations are expensive!! They also convinced me to buy a hoop shirt to wear under (at $110), but when I was talking with a friend at work she said she had one (just used to Sep) and I could borrow it - score!!

Timberly: So sorry to hear about your hair person!! I'm sure that it will all work out, but I totally understand....NOT what you need right now!!! I'm guessing none of your guests have any hair experience?? Keep us updated.

 

Rayanne: Gorgeous ring!! And way to go with the DIY projects!! I've been compiling materials, but haven't actually started and hopefully I can give it a go tonight. Your stuff looks great!!

susie,stop checking in now im getting very jealous i want to be in the sun on the beach.

 

fmg,we leave from manchester which is not too bad.we stopping at a hotel tho on the saturday so we aint got to get up so early for the 9hr flight.cant believe you leave on thursday.make sure you check in b4 you go.

well ladies i had a blast last night and have paid for it today.i havent made it off the sofa only yo get my breakfast and its now 3.10pm.i have nothing to do until tomorrow so its fine.just got to get my case packed.

Good morning! I am up and cannot sleep The FI has been called out of town to work - work is good, right? Except that my procrastinating huney has not done any of his jobs. Oh wait...his one job plus shopping for pants with the guys! Hopefully that will be simple, but um...we have no music. None. I told him the other night if we are working on this two days before we go I will be pi%$#&! He has had months and he just keeps putting it off.....so now I am starting to actually worry about it.

 

Shells...sounds like the hen party was a success if you are still laid up on the couch! Sit back and relax....we need more of those days in the next month as our big days approach!

 

That was a good call about the WC. Timberly, maybe you could email yours and see about the hair stylist. I know it is not your first choice, but it may be a good backup to know there is someone there.

 

Off to send a couple of emails to the photographer and WC and then a fast work out before my wedding shower! My MOH called last night to speak with FI....and he went into the bedroom and closed the door! He never does that, so I have a feeling they are up to something! Guess I will find out soon enough!

Timberly/Krista: I don't know if it is the same from the US, but you don't need a passport to fly into Mexico from Canada. As of March 2010 everyone will need passports, but us Feb Brides will still make the cut. SO maybe your other hair stylist can still be an option!!

 

Rayanne: Have fun at your shower today. I am also having a shower/stagette this evening. Super excited......i'm sure we will have tons of fun....hopefully as much fun as the "hen party"!!!

 

Two weeks until we leave and I still haven't found shoes or earrings......kind of funny....kind of stressful.

 

I think I finally figured out how to post pictures, so now I will go snap away. Unfortunately my gf has the only pics of me in my dress, so this is just the designers photo:

i think all men are the same after being on here.why do they not grasp that if they get off their arses and actually do what ever they need to do we wouldnt nag them?
