It may help to find a travel agent just to get some ideas and see what can work within your budget. Once you find a resort, set a date and everything else will fall into place.

Hey Brenners, welcome to the forum! I am going to suggest you contact The Wedding Holiday (theweddingholiday.com). They are super helpful, friendly, and they get amazing deals on resorts. They are canadian, but they work with people in the States too. They will also help you decide on the best resort for you.

FI is going to do more research on locations but I am guessing Mexico will be the location. I have been looking at other threads related to flowers, dresses, resorts, etc...Definitely getting some good ideas. I am so happy that a friend of mine suggested this site as she is also doing a DW.
