Very nice! Adding a card with the travel agent and info and your website link is a good idea. I don't think it's tacky to ask for an RSVP on the STD...another way you could do it is on the RSVP page of your website you can ask them to let you know if they plan on going to the wedding or the at home gathering party.

I definitely agree with a card. If you have the info ready for making reservations, I would include it, otherwise the facts about the destination is a cool idea. You could even pick a solid color card stock if you want something plain. Just use a craft knife and cut slits so the magnet can fit in it. I love the magnets and envelopes! Great job!

I was thinking about ordering the small magnets (25 for free) from vistaprint that would have our monogram on it, date and location. Then ordering the postcards (100 for free)and putting more a bit more information on it regarding the hotel, travel agent contact info and our wedding website and placing it all in an A2 sized envelope. That way the magnet is not by itself, plus the postcards are free.

I agree here. I don't think it's tacky whatsoever but I'm not queen of manners lol. Definitely include your website address and travel agency information... maybe a current phone number if you are like me and recently changed your number, that would be a good way to make sure everyone has a way of contacting you if they don't have the internet lol. I think it would be a time saver and also $ saver to have them rsvp asap wink.gif if they are undecided, you could always send them an official invite in hopes that it will influence them!

I did the same thing, I orderd the small business card magnets from VistaPrint and also some notecards with the same design and on the back included travel agent info and wedding website. Also I used removable putty to stick the magnet on the back of the card and put it in the notecard envolopes that came with the notecards. I mailed them out yesterday!!!

We are doing boarding pass and including the business card size magnets with only the date and place. But on the STD we have Travel agent info and a link to our website, where guests can RSVP! I think using something as a card backing would work nice, with the little slits holding the magnet to it. Perhaps use the card backing in one of your wedding colors? That could be a nice touch! Ours are like that, and they look pretty nice so far :)

How adorable!

I think adding information on a card about the resort itself (restaurants, different types of rooms, activities available at the resort), and travel agent information would be a great idea to give your guests a head's up before the actual invitation arrives....let us know what you come up with, will you?
