Just found out we might not be able to get married in St. Thomas

The courts probably will be closed the day we port in because of Good Friday. I was not told when we switched our date that this may happen. We dont have a back up plan and im bawling. I dont know what to do......

 

Our WC is checking on it and she is totally trying to help but OMG.

Wow...that is stressful! I know the courts there are even open for marriage licenses on Sunday ($150 surcharge) so maybe the same will apply for Good Friday? Hopefully your coordinator will come back with a few options for you. Keep us posted!

She called and said Holidays they can open for the $150 but not sure on Good Friday. She is a really sweet lady but im like in panic mode.

I hope things work out too. I found out I won't be able to get legally married on my actual wedding day either. My fiance and I am going to get hitched at the courthouse before we go and not tell anyone. I have my fingers crossed for you though

Yeap they cant promise they will open the courts for us. So we either go through the ship to get married which will be twice the amount our WC is or get married at home and than have the ceremony there.
