Sun, Sand ... and a budget

Hi all,

My name is Andrea and I got engaged on June 18.

The FI and I definitely want a destination wedding although we have yet to decide where.

My main concern is keeping the price down for my guests because we want as much of our families there as possible and with the economy being what it is, we don't want to inconvenience anyone.

Any suggestions ... please feel free.

 

The other thing I've been looking for is a sample budget for destination weddings. Everything I've found so far is for traditional, at-home weddings so if anyone has a sample budget, please, please, please PM me or let me know where to find it. I don't want to forget about something and blow my budget.

 

BTW, this site is great and you all have amazing ideas so thank you for that!

I think Cuba would definitely be the cheapest option then Puerto Plata,Mexico and Jamaica.

I'm looking for a destination wedding specific budget too and tried doing a search but "budget" is just too commonly used on the site I think because I found tons but could narrow down something I could use.
