I finally got my first email response from Lorena yesterday. I had sent her another email and marked it "important". I feel kind of bad about that now. She told me to trust that everything would be fine and she was reviewing my wedding info to see if there was anything else we needed to organize. She told me we would keep our meeting time that I had booked with Yamina. I had a few other questions in my email but she hasn't answered them yet-changes to my guest count, changes in the time of our ceremony, day passes for guests....

 

I'm 4 weeks away so hopefully she will get those few questions answered before we head out. I need to print our guest itineraries with the correct times of all of our events before we leave, so I need it within a few weeks.

I am having the worst time getting replies rite now. I'm confident the day will be perfect, and I know they are most likely crazy busy... it will just ease my mind if I can get this all ready to go for when she finally gets back to me.

What form are you referring to? I have sent my deposit in and have never received a form? Will you send it to me as well? My email is [email protected]. I am getting married there December 8th of this year.

Yes  , if you do not want to go over the limit of 300.00 per person I suggest that you give some to some family members as it is suppose to be a surprise kind of.

Just give them the receipts and you will be fien. They mostly target the bride and groom as they see wedding dress, and extra luggage.

Can you clarify what this mean? Do you mean for any decorations/ we are carrying?

One of the past brides said they only check certain people when they go through customs because they press a button and are randomly chosen. I have been there before and do not foresee any problems going through customs with extra suitcases. This sounds like paranoia to me. Obviously be prepared but don't stress.

It has happened as I was there , all I am saying if you do not want to pay taxes for all your extras bring the receipts.

Yes you do push a button, green go through red come with me, but there is no saying that they will not randomly pull you to the side. They didnt ask  about the dress but everything else which was not clothing they did. Customs got so frustrated they just told her to go . As they were trying to match the receipts to the items.

To be on the safe side only 300.00 per person in goods that are not clothing
