For just the wedding it's $55 a person or if they want to come for the full day it's $88 a person

I rented my chair sashes and table overlays here in NY and brought everything with me. We originally planned to use resort lanterns set up, but because of the weather they moved our reception, so we end up not using our lanterns at all. They charge 100 for the set up. I have 12 new white lanterns, if anyone is interested I can sell they at discount.

For our OOT bags we went a bit overboard:

- We ordered personalized canvas beach bags for the couples & personalized black book bags for the single guys

- In each bag is 1 or 2 towels depending who it is for

- 1 or 2 pairs of sunglasses that we ordered wholesale online.  They come in awesome colors.

- We ordered biodegradable sunscreen in bulk online because it is required for snorkeling down there and it is SO EXPENSIVE.  We bought little bottles and had personal labels made that show "Lindsey & Kevin's Biodegradable Sunscreen"

- We ordered door signs for the hotel room that say "Do Not Disturb, Partied all night at Lindsey & Kevin's wedding!"

- We have hangover/medicine kits with tums, advil, aloe, bandaids, mentos, chapstick in them.  I am thinking of adding some hand sanitizer or something else to them, but I will decide tomorrow once I put them all together.  We are putting them in these zipper plastic pouches that we also ordered online in bulk.

- We have personalized water bottle labels so we will collect water bottles from all over the resort and put 1 or 2 in each bag.

- Welcome letter, itinerary, rehearsal dinner invitation [if applicable]

I think that is it!  Over all our bags cost about $500-700.  I am not sure of the exactly numbers.

I hope I helped!!

Thank you for sharing. You should post some pictures. Very happy for you. where did you get the towels? Does the resort give water bottle or do you have to purchase them?

My dad ordered the towels so I am not sure.  I think he just typed in Wholesale Beach Towels in Google.  We got the 11" plush thickness.  I can ask him the website when I see him tomorrow.  You should be able to go around to any bar and get water bottles so we just planned to go and ask for like 10 at a time, haha.  It's all inclusive so they have to give them to us!

I am getting married in Feb2013 and I was freaking out about my lack of response. I went through a destination wedding coordinator who has been doing this for 15+ years. I'll tell you what she told me and maybe it will help ease your anxiety.

She said that they have so many weddings that they are currently working on weddings that are a month or two out. She said it's not to say our weddings are not important, but she said she would be very realistic so I know what to expect. She said that this resort always has very slow response time but that they come through big time when you are close to your wedding and assures me I wont be disappointed. I explained how we are getting bridesmaid dresses next month and I want to ensure that the colors match. She said that they literally have every color possible and if it is not (for whatever reason) a shade that is close enough, they can mix multiple shades together to create a custom look that will be great.

She seems extremely confident that I shouldn't be concerned. Has told me to get my dresses and everything according to what I want and that they will be able to put it all together wonderfully. It's just that they don't plan ahead like a traditional venue does so us brides that are this far out will not get the one-on-one attention just yet.

I hope this helps!
