Thanks :-) Bouquets were real touch from Amanda Floral Studios in Kentucky.  I ended up substituting my bouquet (included in the Ultimate Package) for 2 junior Bridesmaids bouquets so that worked out gr8.  LOVED the runner too. We went through Jennifer @ originalrunner.com.  its neat b/c instead of the guest book that tends to collect dust afterwards - we're taking the runner with all the signatures around the wedding monogram to get mounted, framed and then we'll hang it over our fire place :-)  Glad you liked it.

OMG - it was wicked. I was in Desires and Lisa approached me.  It was TOO funny.  Both our now husbands we're looking at us like we were a little off for hugging and chatting it up with "somebody we never met" lmao As for Miss Lindsay, lets just say she's due to have a little tequila shot with me at some point.  She had me take one with her THE night before my wedding swearing up and down she would do one the night before hers lmao  Lets just say that didn't happen LOL  Probably why she was such a vision on her wedding day :-) Both such lovely ladies and it was so gr8 to meet them and put a face to a name :-)

LOL it's true...I escaped unscaved...but I will never forget those three wisemen Melissa...worst shot I've ever had in my LIFE!  An eye for an eye eh?  I do owe you a shot...your choice...hopefully back at DRC one day on an anniversary! LOL

Thank you!  I'm flattered...it really is all that it looks, amazing!  You should be SO excited.  

 

DRC did my flowers, the bridesmaids bouquets were silk and I asked Ana to match my bouquet to the bridesmaids and add some white lillies, I think they turned our perfect...I loved my flowers!  They did charge me an extra $60 for that bouquet, not sure why but I was happy with them none the less?  So maybe they were exotic flowers?  The lanterns I got through the resort as well, they were $20 a piece and I had 11 of them so it worked out to $220...they did help provide lighting once it got dark out so I'm glad I used them.  They did tend to fly off with the wind quite a bit though but the staff was very quick to chase them down and put them back up as best as they could.  Seems like the EW or Deco Cancun string of lights is a bit more stable and really nice as well but I think they are quite a bit more expensive...?

 

You should be so excited to work with Anel...without a doubt your pictures will turn out amazing...

I have two questions:

 

1. Did you get your flowers through DRC? If so, was your bouquet considered exotic? It is beautiful!!

2. Did you get the lanterns through the hotel our outside vendor and if you dont mind me asking, can you give me an approximate cost for the lanterns?

Congratulations on being a MRS.  I love the colors of your wedding, one of my color is orange too and I love how the parasols and fans look in your pictures.  I was wondering where you got your veil, I really adore it.  Your dress is absolutely amazing and you look beautiful in it.  Your hair is so perfect, did you get it done at the resort?  Once again congrats

Hey girls - so I need to vent- I email my last deposit info  to Jorge at Dreams a week and a half ago stating to him that they need to take the final deposit within 24-48 hours as my bank has the international transactions open for that amount of time. 

He emailed me back saying they would email a confirmation letter.

Well.... after 4 emails later I havent heard anything back at all and they never took my payment.  Don't they want our money!?  I just emailed Jorge and Anabell at the reservations center again a pretty stern message.     So frustrating and the weddings in less than a month!
