L'oreal,

Your wedding is beautiful.  I love the flower balls, may I ask how much you paid for each flower ball?  Did you use your own officiant or did you use the resort and did you guys write your own vows?

Thank you

Finally got the slide show

What size chair sashes did you get?? I am wanting to tie my sashes like this:

But i'm unsure what size/length sashes I should get

Also, I am having a small wedding 15 guests including the groom and I and we are considering just doing the free wedding and having add-ons (videographer, sound system, flowers for me, and hair/make-up, having dinner at one of the restaurants and just paying the reservation fee) Has anyone done this or is anyone else thinking about this.  I am getting married on July 6th and starting to get nervous because I haven't planned anything.

Hi Lindsay! I've heard great things about Anel too...I'm still waiting to hear back from her. They sent me an email saying that their system crashed (or something like that) and they're behind in answering emails. I'm leaning towards using Adventure, because of the great reviews and reasonable prices...almost every other photog I've looked at is at least double the price, if not 3 to 4 times as much (ouch). Wish I had a bigger budget, but I don't : (

Anel from Adventure Photos is very good, that's who I'm using. Otherwise Juan Navarro is also excellent and his prices, although more expensive then Adventure Photo, are more competitive then some of the other high end photographers.  If I had a larger budget for photos, I'd be using Del Sol hands down...they are amazing!

As for booking your DJ, just ask Ana to book in AVI for you and the tell Juan Molina and he will set the date aside for you.  I had no problems getting this booked, so I imagine it should be easy for you to do...

Good Luck!

I love this pic too, I have it saved in my "inspiration folder".

I'm starting to realize that the easiest way to figure some stuff out is just to try it myself, lol (if I can). If I go this route, I'll just buy a little fabric, try it on one of my chairs, and figure out the length from there.

You would think the resort (and all resorts) would set up a FAQ brochure for brides or designate someone to answer all of our questions besides the WC, they're too busy)...they're such trivial things, but honestly, a girl needs to know! How else can we plan/know what we need to buy?!  What are the dimensions of the chuppah? How tall is the gazebo? What type of chairs are included? How size table linens do I need...Why wouldn't the WC's save themselves the aggravation and have our answers in one place! Ok, I'm totally venting, I think I'm done now smile41.gif

Does anyone know if this is included in the Love or Ultimate wedding packages (starfish and raffia on chairs leading down the aisle)? I've seen something similar in a few DRC wedding pics and wonder if the hotel provided it or if the couple brought it themselves...
