Menu question.  so i finally got an email from Ana to start my planning process and she sent me the Gold menu options, which im not too impressed with.  but isnt there a rule that if you have over forty people then you have to have a buffet?  I had figuired this whole time on the buffett and I remember reading reviews saying how good it was.

Does anyone know what the buffet choices are?  was it caribean and/or BBQ?  i cant remember.  If anyone has the menu options could you please email them to me?  [email protected]

Thanks!

How is everyone getting their guests to the resort that is not going through APPLE vaca's...etc.?

I have guests coming on Weds, Thurs AND Friday and we have to set up an account with Cancun Transportation.... They say we can set up a website and the guests can pay for their transportation via the website.  I am wondering if anyone else has done this or knows about it?  It seems like such a hassle but taxis are not allowed at the airport to pick passengers up.

In response to my own question from a few days ago:

Leah, upgrades do not apply in photos. You can add one package to the 50 or 36 photos package you already have (ultimate or love) and at the end you will have the amount of photos whatever package you choose plus the ultimate/love package photos. The reason for this is that you are not paying for a one hour coverage when you get an ultimate or love package, you are getting a lot of different things for less because they are all included in the wedding package so the price you see at the wedding price list does not have anything to do with the ultimate or love which are packages that the resort offers you.

Personally, we are going with the equipment and technician for the 180/hr - I hear the tech is great and will announce and fade in and out songs.  we are so picky with our music that there was no way we were going to have a random DJ dictate our reception.  Just an opinion.   It will be tedious downloading and making playlists but I think in the end it will be worth it!

Thoughts?

I think we are doing the same but the our issue is we leave Tue & our playlist isn't done!!!!  I just cannot pay $280.  an hour plus 11% tax for a dj that the resort picked for me.  Seems crazy but I am afraid the reception will not flow well.

I say just start adding whole CD's on to your IPOD now if you are leaving Tuesday- Bob Marley's greatest hits are always a favorite- especially on the Beach!  :)
