I KNOW how frustrated you are. It seems like all the brides have this exact issue though.

My wedding was confirmed a couple months ago with Ana, but since Gabriela took over for Ana she sent me one e-mail saying something about not confirming the restataunts for the wedding receptions till 1 week prior to wedding date, since then i've sent her 4 very important emails about details and its been 3 weeks and still nothing. My travel agent has even tried getting in touch with them.

My wedding is in 16 days and I hear from her within 3-5 days...I know it's frustrating, but just be confident that when you're wedding day is close, you'll hear from her a lot sooner.

me too!!!! ive sent numerous emails and my travel agent has too, and ive still heard nothing back!!! the holiday is already  booked so the wedding date is something that needs confirming asap in order to arrange anything else!!!! it seems she has too much to do by herself and the hotel should invest in another wedding planner to half her load!!

I feel a little better that she's just not ignoring me.  I want to tell my friends and family the date so they can plan/budget and also block rooms off but if she won't confirm I can't do any of this.  I'm giving her a few more days then I'm looking for another resort.  I can't deal with this unresponsiveness for the entire planning process.

Are there any other brides on here whos wedding is coming up that have hired Juan Navarro as their photographer?

I've booked him for my January wedding there, just curious so i can watch for his reviews and pics! I'm also a little nervous with all the changes going on at the resort..i'm afraid they'll say "oh, well we changed our mind you can no longer bring in an outside photographer!" thats when i pass out from anger and emotional craziness. lol =) I've already got a contact with him and a deposit down. I check his site evey day for new pics posted.. just curious if ANYONE else on here is using him? =)

I am not using him but I check his photos as well he's great!

 

I know from personal experience that they are honoring what Ana had confirmed with you - so don't worry about the photographer- you'll be just fine.

I am meeting with my TA this week and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me in choosing a TA. Are there any great questions to ask, or things you wish you would have discussed? Thanks for you help, it is much appreciated!!!

Not using Juan but the pictures I've seen have been amazing!

We're using Playa Weddings and they have been great to work with so far.  I'll post a recap and vendor review when we get back.  Only 1 month away!

hey ladies i havent been on in weeks..  I have moved, switching jobs, and went on my bach party wkd to Miami!  I  have also sent numerous emails to dreams with no response...  my wedding is in less than 2 months and I have questions about my rehearsal dinner, weclome party, and reception!  

 

This is CRAZY!!!!!  We have almost 100 guests going and its very fustrating that they just dont care or respond!!!!!!!!  Has anyone written to mgmt about all these new changes?  Do they not care?  I posted something on FB and someone repsonded they would get back to me.. NOTHING!!!!

 

 

Anyway does anyone know how much we have to pay the resort if we hire somone to bring lounge furniture from Deco Cancun???
