When I booked my date with Ana she sent me a contract and it had my makeup and hair suggested appointment time (ceremony at 6, hair and make up at 2). Does this mean this is my actual appointment or do I need to go ahead and book that myself?

Also, my TA contacted the resort about the free nights with 6 rooms being booked. She said that she has to submit all the info the week before and then she'll find out what we get.
Does anyone know how this works? We are staying for a week, but 3 are staying 4 nights, 1 staying for 3 nights, and 1 staying for 6 nights.
How do we get comped if we've already paid thru our TA? She doesn't have the details of how this works.

OMG... less than 2 weeks to go!!
YAY TWO WEEKS!!!! It's going to be amazing!
To answer your spa question - I'd just shoot the spa an email, they're amazing at getting back to you right away and I told them my ceremony time and they sent me a list of appt times for the 7 of us - I talked to my photographer and she suggested we have 2 hours for pictures after we're all dolled up, so tell them your ceremony time and you want to be done by x time and they'll do all the rest :)

Thanks Lilly! How much time do you think I need? My hair is at 2:30 and makeup is at 3:30. My ceremony begins at 6 but we have to do pics before so that we don't miss our cocktail hour. I am not sure if i should start hair and makeup earlier.[/quote

If you want to take more pictures before the ceremony so you're not taking them through the cocktail hour, maybe move it up to 1:30 - that would give you a little buffer time in case the hair or makeup take longer then expected. You can always do touch ups pinkie.gif Hope that helps. All the advice I got from friends who already got married was give yourself some buffers during the day because it's better to be sitting around then rushing around.

For those who already had thier weddings- was a 3 hour reception long enough? did you/guests get time to dance at all? cut cake etc?

How many guests did you have also? I'm wondering if 3 hours is enough to eat dinner for 18 people and have time for first dance, cake cut and a little dancing after? x

I will be seriously pee'd off if she comes back in 3 months and says this is also taken!!!

ARGH!

So what was your "second" choice for the reception? How big is your party? I was given Portofino restaurant as a choice since we have about 60 people. She tried to soothe it over by stating that "at least you can have a sit-down dinner" Well I don't really care about that. To make matters worst, I've read 3 reviews on Tripadvisor about how hot/stuffy Portofino's can be. ARGH!!!
