Dreams Riviera Cancun - Brides post here (new thread)

coming from the uk....only have 20 guests flying with me all staying at the dreams hotel. we ahve had the honeymoon suite which i cant find any photos of.Asked the hotel by email numerous times with no response.I have had the top wedding package.Been told i cant have the pool terrace as i do not have enough guests....not sure why this matters???? anyway the dj is costing £187 p/h min of 2 ! dance floor is £400 + vat then the sound system for the ceremony is £120 + vat im not tight with money and i love spending and shopping but i think these prices are crazy !! even for a wedding so far just the hotel and my ceremony has cost us £7,600 then we have all the rest on top and the dreams riviers cancun are telling me i cant have the pool terrace !!! the cheek im disgusted not happy at all

sorry about the rant just heard about the pool terrace for my reception,cant have it because not enough guests .i had my heart set on it because it looked pretty with the infinity pool lit up.the pool deck im allowed but it just looks like condrete and not pretty at all im really upset.

fed up wish id never swopped hotels !! had to swop from excellence riviera to dreams because i have 2 niece's and excellence dont allow children....

Actually the pool terrace is concrete and the pool deck is the wooden one with the infinity pool in the background.

Is anyone else adding an extra hour on to their reception? I was quoted an extra $1,000 for an hour for 20 people!!!!

How many guests are you having? Im expecting 30-40 and haven't heard them saying I can't have it on the pool deck? I hope they don't change it on me!
