Royal Cancun vs Royal Playa del Carmen

Hi Everyone,

 

I am a bride to be from the UK planning a Mexican Destination wedding.

 

At the moment I am pretty certain I want to have the wedding at the Royal Cancun.

 

However, if was just wondering if anyone had any advice on why they choose the Royal Cancun or The Royal PDC?

 

Also be great to here from anyone been married/or getting married at the Royal Cancun and their experiences?

 

As so far away, a bit apprehensive about everything!

Hello,

I have also been looking into both properties for my upcoming July 2010 wedding. It looks like I am moving forward with the Royal Cancun because they have Catholic ceremonies available and the site for the ceremony is breathtaking….if this were available at the Royal Playa Del Carmen then I would definitely have chosen Playa. From what I hear Playa is a little more romantic than Cancun so I think we will be moving to Playa for the honeymoon.

 

Have you had any luck with making a decision yet?

We are thinking of Cancun, mainly because we would like the nightlife.

 

we are going to go to Cancun in May to visit the Royal so might venture to PDC also to check it out.
