Newbie bride to Dreams Cancun

Hi:),

 

i just set my wedding day at Dreams Resort and Spa in Cancun on June 3rd,2010:)

 

i have a few questions if anyone has gotten married there:

 

how is the hotel photographer? i'm wondering if i should go with someone outside of the resort to take the photo's?

 

also when placing the deposit for the wedding packages is it better to wire the money to the hotel or send a certified check via ups? is one safer than the other?

 

how have the wedding co-ordinators been in getting back to you via email? i've sent a few emails now and it seems like it takes forever for them to return.

Welcome to the forum, Dee! Congrats on picking your venue! I shot a wedding there in May, and I loved it! Its beautiful.

 

The slow response time from the coordinators it totally normal, so don't be discouraged by that - I'll let the gals help you out with your other questions. And make sure you read through this thread:

Congratulations Dee and welcome to the forums! Im not sure if Dreams has a hotel photographer? I know the videographer is usually supplied by CancunWeddingVideo.com . They seem to do a good job and the website content looks good.

We have shot a bunch of weddings at Dreams Cancun and have slideshows up on our website for you to view what the hotel has to offer. It is a great location and very picturesque.
