3 hour Reception at Sandals

So did any of you have a 3 hour reception or are any of you planning to have one? If so, how did it flow or what are your plans? Does a wedding coordinator instruct when the Father-Daughter dance is, etc? Or will the DJ if we have one for the full 3 hours?

I plan on doing the 3 hour reception as well! I'd definitely be interested as well. I did see pictures of the basic table set up (no upgrades) and it's a lot nicer than I was expecting, so i'm pleased with that!

JennLizFran- where did u get to see the picture of the table set-up? The only picture that I got when I asked is a picture of the centerpiece. I would love to see more!

It was in a brochure that I received from Sandals. I'll see if I can scan it in when I get home, if not I'll post the name of the brochure and maybe you can request it. It's fairly basic, white linens, white & crystal dinnerware and silver. But it was still quite pretty.

For those of you having the 3 hour reception- will you be using the DJ for your 3hours? Then how will you do the music for ceremony?

I plan on bringing CDs for the ceremony music.

We did the 3 hour reception and the WC did a wonderful job of making sure that everything flowed and told us where to go, etc.

We are adding a 3 hour reception as well! Just not with the sit down dinner.. I think it is crazyyyyyy to pay $76 a person for a resort that is already all inclusive!! we are doing appetizers and extended bar with dj etc!
