New member with question re: costs

Hi. I am just in the process of gathering info on possibly having a destination wedding in Feb or March. I am trying to figure out costs and was wondering if anyone can help.

 

We are thinking of the Riu Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta. I see the cost of the different packages on their web site. Is that the total cost (assuming we don't want additional items)? Or are gratuities for the wedding planner, justice of the peace/minister, etc. extra? If they are extra, how much - roughly-would they be? Any other "hidden" costs?

Hi Mary! The package price generally includes all of what is stated on the package, It all depends on what you want. The easiest way is to get in contact with the wedding coordinator for the resort you choose. Usually, a wedding coordinator is also included with wedding packages.. But, don't quote me on that. Congrats and welcome! You'll want to check directly with the wc to find out exactly what is included in their package and what they charge extra for.

Happy Planning. I would suggested contacting the resort directly or if you have someone that you are working with, have them contact them. There are differences with what are offered in standard packages. It will give you the clearest picture of what to expect. Welcome to the forum!
