My name is Stacey and I live in Michigan. Originally we had a wedding date set for November 6, 2010 in our hometown. After discussing this with our parents, we decided to opt for a destination wedding, only including my father, his girlfriend, and my fiance and I. Small...very small...just wanted my father there to walk me. Than when we get back, were planning on having a reception (250 people) at my fathers home. Soooo we are confused on where we plan on going. Were thinking February 2010. Turks Caicos, Madives, Fiji, Tahiti, somewhere warm!! We also are looking into the overwater bungalows, but there's only a few places that have them. I am terrified of the LONG airplane ride to Fiji, Tahitit, etc. Turks Caicos isn't that bad...only about 1 1/2 from Miami. I have always wanted to go there. Anyways, some suggestions would be wonderful or some websites for assistance. I don't even know where to begin. Thanks!

Over water bungalows.... maybe check Honduras? I think I saw some pictures of a resort or two that had that. Other than that, just keep searching the forum. You never know what you will come up with

Welcome! Fiji was my dream wedding location - couldn't end up swinging it Good luck! I think I've also heard Costa Rica has some overwater bungalows somewhere, not positive though
