I'm not exactly sure of the size but if you go to the website you'll be able to see the measurements. I used them on (I'm thinking) standard size round tables. We were able to fit 8 people comfortably around the tables we had. My WC said we could fit 10 but I would recommend not doing so for the sake of your guests.

 

The fabric is an almost light type of fabric...kind of a net type. It's see through so definitely not something you'd want on the table by itself. Sorry if I didn't answer that too clearly.
