Congratulations and welcome to the forum. You'll find tons of info on the forum, but I think you should start with where in Mexico you'd like to get married. Then you can start looking at resorts and venues. It might also be good start talking to travel agents so you can get an idea of pricing. I was actually surprised to learn that while a wedding in Mexico might be cheaper than at home, it wasn't as inexpensive as I thought it would be.

Happy Planning!

Hey Andrew Paul! Welcome! We are getting married in Mexico, Mayan Riviera in Sept at the Azul Sensatori. The Karisma Hotels (ours is one) all seem really great and I have heard fab things about Dreams Tulum...

Look around the site and you will find lots of info! Good luck with the planning and congrats!

Hi everyone! I just made my wedding plans for Los Cabos, Baja California. I got everything in order with help from everyone on here, thanks so much!

With the state of the economy, lots of hotels are offering huge discounts for people looking to travel to Mexico. One of my favorite chains, Barcelo (Spain) is offering an incredible deal where anyone can get up to 20% off any reservation. The Barcelo hotel in Cabo is under construction, with an opening date of December 1 – if anyone is thinking about going to Cabo, this promotion really is a great way to save some money. Just go to ... Barceló Los Cabos Palace Deluxe ... and write a review of what kind of hotel room you would like to stay in. Hopefully see some people down Mexico way!

BDW has proven to be invaluable in my planning, and it's comforting to know that there are other brides and grooms out there experiencing the same highs and lows during their planning process...a friend is always just on the other side of your computer screen!

CONGRATULATIONS and Welcome to BDW...it's a wedding-planning heaven!
