Hawaii's honeymoon vacation packages attract more couples to the Islands than any other romantic destination in the world. And it's easy to see why - what other slice of paradise is so accessible, and so affordable, especially to visitors from the continental U.S.?

Hosting Hawaii honeymoon vacations is a major industry in the Aloha State, and now there's a new addition to the profitable equation: wedding parties. According to travel companies that frequently book Hawaii honeymoon and romance packages to the Islands, there has been a noticeable increase in destination weddings - many that involve large parties - in the past four or five years.

"Familymoons," as they're called by some, are popular for a number of reasons: the families of the bride and groom can share in the memories of the wedding celebration, and combine it with a vacation of their own - with a choice of five Hawaiian islands to escape to afterwards for their own Hawaii "honeymoon."
