I love the dress and the story is so funny. Your idea of having purple heels that show just a little is great. I am going very casual for my wedding (at least thats the plan right now) so I am probably going to wear sandals. With that dress, I think you can put anything on your feet!

YOU'RE SO WELCOME, Cara! I tell you what, sometimes it takes the opinion/advice of someone you might not even know that well to offer you a different perspective, since they can be more objective to your situation than maybe a close friend or family member, you know?

 

I just think this dress has woven it's way into your heart, with it's beading, glitter and all! It's magnificent, and will become more so, when being worn by a bride that truly loves both the gown and the indescribable way she feels in it.

 

Now Cara, you've got to promise us all that you'll work some magic to get pics of yourself with the dress on, so we can squeal and gush over how divine you look in it, ok?! Can't wait!

Beautiful dress!!! I am wearing capri sandals for the ceremony and my tailor is getting the dress hemmed for that length so it won't drag too much on the sand. Haven't decided on shoes for the reception. Since I won't be wearing heels taller than 3 1/2 inches, it should not be an issue if the shoes show a little bit.

That dress is gorgeous! The dress I got had to be measured hollow to hem as well so I got mine measured for little heels then I will change into flats to party at the reception !!
