Port Canaverl/Cocoa Beach

Hello, Im getting married on April 11, 2010 in Port Canaveral, Carnival Sensation, embarkment day weddings. Since I have to be on board by 10:30 I need to try and find a salon in that area that is willing to come to a hotel to do my hair early on a Sunday morning. Im traveling from Pittsburgh. Im still not sure where we are going to stay. Im trying to find a place that isn't expensive since we are only spending one night there and realize a rental car is probably the best bet to deal with getting to Port. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

Welcome to the forum and congrats! My parents have a place in Florida so I go every spring - maybe I'll drive by while you're getting married I have never been to a salon there so I can't really help you, but yes I'd say you will definitely need to rent a car. Cocoa Beach is pretty spread out over a long stretch of road. Unless you're OK with walking for a few miles!

Thanks! My gram lives in Orlando so I might just have her drive around and see if she can find any hair salons that are willing to do my hair. I think car rental is the only choice since its an hour from the airport and I dont want to have to worry and depend on anyone else that day just in case.

This site came up for me when I was searching for wedding makeup places in Panama City. I think they're in Cocoa Beach. They do say they have a "location" fee so maybe that means they come to you. Anyway, it's worth checking out!
