Timeline/To Do List - from the Guide to Destination Weddings

Recommended Posts

Send invites only 2-4 months in advance?  I thought most places suggest 6-9 months for invites and 9-12+ months for STDs?
I would truly like to know the answer to this question.... When should DW invites go out?? 9 months sounds good, but it also sounds too early... I don't know...

This is super awesome! Good job pulling this up! I've been looking for a destination wedding timeline, as our timelines don't really match a local wedding.

Let's see if I missed anything (3 months left til mine.)

They say up to a year ahead is fine.  We sent our STD's at 10 months, which included the link to our wedding website with all of the travel info. Invites will be at the 6 month mark.
