My two cents (thinking as a guest): I wouldn't want to ride that far for a short ceremony and then ride back. It's far, hot, probably bumpy and then they have to wait nearly an hour to eat/drink after the ceremony.

But thinking like a bride...if it's REALLY what you want and you can't imagine it any other way...do it. I can't imagine guests complaining to you about it.
