Floating Candles and Candlelight

I am having my wedding at the Hilton, and would like to use all candlelight (so no spotlights). I thought about filling the pool with floating candles, but cant seem to find the right candles to make this work. Has anyone else done this?

Have you asked the Hilton if this is an option? I know some hotels do not let you float canddles in their pools as the wax can clog their filters.

What about luminaries around the pool or even tiki torches but some nice ones..not the bamboo ones. I was thinking about these for my centerpieces because I don't want flowers....this is the site. the only thing though is they may be a little heavy to transport and the oil for them I donn't think should be flown out maybe buy at costco there or another store?

I agree luminaries might be better because it gets really windy on the beach so you need something to keep the candles from getting blown out....
