ROR - Jr Suite locations

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know for certain if the ROR Junior Suites are all ocean view? I've heard 2 different stories. I've heard that all the junior suites are ocean view and I've heard that oceanview junior suites are an upgrade. Also are the junior suites all located in one section of the resort or are they scattered throughout the resort?

Thanks,

Not 100% sure, but out room and my parent's room were the same price, and were both JR Suites. Parent's room faced the mountains, tennis court and some ocean...

What it comes down to is, I don't think that there is a bad room in terms of views. They are all gorgeous views. We liked our room because we could see all of our guests from it if they were at the quiet pool. Our other friends had a room in building 2 (regular room) and they had the best views in town!! Striaght on to the ocean.

I believe all of building 2 is standard rooms, all of 1 (I think) are Jr. Suites and all of 3 are standard (although I think there are full suites in there).

When you check in, ask for a room on the inside of the horseshoe, overlooking the pool (these have an ocean view.) The outside rooms can be very noisy because they overlook the show stage or a neighboring bar (with a sideways look off the balcony, you can see the ocean.) You likely won't be able to see a lot of ocean on the 1st level of any room, the higher up you are, the better the view.

Yes I just went in May and was very upset that I paid for the so called "ocean view". I went to complain and they asked me one question "can you see the ocean", I said a little and they said that was all they could do for me. Even if it is a small shot, its still considered a ocean view. I had a view of the pool like the pictures above. After a hour I got over it because the resort was beautiful. May I ask where you booked you vacation? Im looking for a travel agency!

I was just married at ROR on August 8, 2009 and we had a Jr. Suite that had a partial ocean view and a view of a dirt path road and some vendors outside. We actually didn't mind this, it was really private and there was no loud noises coming from anywhere. We were in building 1 on the 3rd floor. Hope this helps.

Good Luck!
